Why do Instagram accounts need residential proxies?

Instagram looks at where each login comes from. Datacenter and VPS ranges often get “suspicious login” checks. A residential IP comes from a real home device, so the session looks like the account owner.

How many Instagram profiles can share one IP?

How long does a sticky Instagram session last?

A sticky session keeps one IP while its device stays online. A timed session keeps it for exactly the duration you set, up to 72 hours. A sticky IP is not a permanent, dedicated address.
