Seven days is the required session setting
Keep IPRoyal when its configurable TTL fits your browser workflow. The seven-day setting requests a duration; a residential peer can still leave, so retain a recovery path.
Compare residential traffic and session controls. Keep ISP and mobile requirements separate when evaluating a replacement.

Non-expiring residential traffic for your own HTTP client or browser.

Hold the workload constant and compare the decision field that can change your bill or your team's work.
| Decision field | IPRoyal | Decodo | ProxyLane |
|---|---|---|---|
| Residential entry and expiry | IPRoyalResidential pay as you go shows $7.35/GB; subscription shows $7/GB at the displayed 1 GB tier, and the site says traffic does not expire | DecodoResidential pay as you go is $4/GB through Wallet; monthly tiers and a trial have separate eligibility and billing terms | ProxyLaneResidential proxies from $2/GB; see pricing for package details. Residential traffic does not expire |
| Product boundaries | IPRoyalResidential traffic is separate from ISP, datacenter, mobile, and Web Unblocker products; price the product actually needed | DecodoResidential, ISP, mobile, and datacenter proxies sit beside Site Unblocker and scraping APIs with different units | ProxyLaneThe offer is residential traffic with ISP targeting. It is not a separate dedicated ISP proxy SKU; MCP terms are separate |
| Geography and connection | IPRoyalUse dashboard geography, then connect the generated residential HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 endpoint with credentials or IP allowlisting | DecodoChoose location and session settings in the dashboard, copy the endpoint, and use the generated client examples | ProxyLaneChoose country, region, city, ZIP, ISP or ASN targeting and connect through HTTP or SOCKS5 in the existing client or browser |
| Session and cookie policy | IPRoyalSticky TTL can be set up to seven days, but the provider says a residential peer may leave before the period ends | DecodoRotating and sticky residential options are available; test cookie continuity and peer changes on the target | ProxyLaneChoose rotating or sticky sessions and carry the current cookie lifetime and recovery behavior into the test |
| Minimum test path | IPRoyalThere is no general residential free trial; the guide points to a minimum 1 GB pay-as-you-go purchase | DecodoThe site shows a 3-day, 100 MB trial for eligible new users and a $4/GB Wallet option; verify the account path | ProxyLaneCreate a free account and describe the workflow; select a residential package after access and usage terms are clear |
| Browser and agents | IPRoyalFeed the residential proxy to your browser or script; the account API manages settings, while agent tooling is your responsibility | DecodoUse the raw endpoint in your client, or select a separate Site Unblocker, Web Scraping API, or official MCP path | ProxyLaneBring your own browser or HTTP client. Describe an MCP client and expected use separately from residential traffic |
| Same-workload check | IPRoyalFor a hypothetical seven-day browser job, preserve cookies and count full-page bytes, peer changes, retries, and completed actions | DecodoFor the same hypothetical job, use the raw residential route and keep managed API or Site Unblocker credits out of the GB comparison | ProxyLaneRun the same permitted pages with the same cookie policy and compare usable fields, bytes, retries, session changes, and package cost |
Keep IPRoyal when its configurable TTL fits your browser workflow. The seven-day setting requests a duration; a residential peer can still leave, so retain a recovery path.
Keep IPRoyal when the job needs its separate ISP or mobile product. Price that product's allocation and term independently of residential GB.
Test ProxyLane when you need a residential gateway for an existing client or browser and do not need a separate mobile or dedicated ISP product. The acceptance test keeps the network change narrow.
Compare ProxyLane's country, region, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting with the exact IPRoyal geography your workload uses. Ask for the selected location and session terms, then validate the target before scaling traffic.
Both IPRoyal and ProxyLane describe non-expiring residential traffic. A held balance alone is no reason to switch; compare targeting, session behavior, and usable output across your actual schedule.
IPRoyal's quick-start guide directs residential buyers to a minimum 1 GB purchase, without a general free trial. Use that purchase to check the target and session behavior before increasing the balance. The matrix separates its pay-as-you-go and subscription prices.
The shopper still has to separate residential from ISP and mobile. A long-lived assigned ISP identity and a rotating residential session answer different browser questions. Web Unblocker is another product boundary. Decide which one the workflow needs before comparing IPRoyal with Decodo or ProxyLane.
Decodo offers a lower entry price through Wallet alongside monthly plans. Its trial automatically activates the selected plan unless cancelled before it ends, and excludes the 14-day money-back option. Price Site Unblocker separately from raw traffic.
ProxyLane's packages retain your existing browser, cookies, parser, and retries. Country, region, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting apply to residential traffic; ISP targeting selects traffic by provider rather than renting a dedicated ISP address. Choose the volume from the matrix after measuring a full visit.
Choose a permitted multi-page workflow that depends on the current cookie and session policy. Freeze the URL sequence, browser or HTTP client, headers, concurrency, retry rules, country, TTL, and required fields. Run the same sequence through IPRoyal, Decodo, and ProxyLane raw residential endpoints. Record whether the cookie survives, when the exit changes, how much traffic the visit consumes, and how many completed records remain usable.
If the requirement is mobile or a dedicated ISP identity, stop the residential comparison and price the matching products. If the requirement is a managed response, test Decodo Site Unblocker separately and count its unit. A route earns a move only when it passes the same session and output rule at acceptable measured cost and service terms.
Use a reversible sample and preserve the acceptance rule that made the current route useful.
Choose residential, ISP, mobile, or managed unblocking before comparing price; record the exact target geography, cookies, session duration, and required output
Keep the same browser or HTTP client, parser, headers, concurrency, retry rules, cookie policy, and permitted URL sequence
Measure bytes, peer changes, proxy errors, retries, cookie continuity, returned fields, completed records, and the selected provider's billed unit
Keep IPRoyal or move a bounded job only when the alternative passes the session and output rule and its current terms fit the schedule
IPRoyal's current residential pricing page says the traffic does not expire. Subscription, account, and product terms still deserve a check before holding a large balance for a long period.
ProxyLane offers ISP targeting within its residential route. It is a targeting choice, not a separate dedicated ISP proxy product, so compare it with IPRoyal residential when that is the required product.
Decodo currently shows $4/GB pay as you go, IPRoyal shows $7.35/GB pay as you go, and ProxyLane sells 1 GB for $6.50. The workload, expiry, session, and account terms decide the useful cost.
IPRoyal says the TTL can be set up to seven days but also says a residential peer can leave before the period ends. Test cookie continuity and recovery from an exit change.
Specify your MCP client, target, and usage at registration. Any MCP service fee is agreed separately before payment.
Tell ProxyLane which targets, geography, session behavior and traffic volume your workflow needs.
Recheck linked product and billing terms before committing to a plan.
