Teams testing residential and mobile exits under one account balance
Location-specific collection where country pricing can be modeled before purchase
WHEN TO RECONSIDER
Find the actual friction
The live pricing page groups countries into three traffic tiers; a single advertised GB rate does not describe every location.
The current Builder minimum is a monthly credit commitment, and higher-plan targeting and overage controls should be checked before scaling.
START WITH THE CHANGE YOU NEED
Three routes worth comparing
DataImpulse
Compare the residential purchase terms
Both DataImpulse and SOAX can supply residential and mobile proxy traffic, but DataImpulse describes non-expiring prepaid GB while SOAX's paid plans draw geography-tiered traffic from monthly shared credits with 60-day rollover. A multi-country schedule makes those terms tangible.
Before you switch
A prepaid GB balance is not a fixed IP or a managed browser. Keep those requirements separate.
SOAX and Webshare both provide proxy routes, but their catalogs and meters do not line up at the headline-plan level. SOAX uses monthly credits and country-tier residential or mobile GB rates. Webshare sells monthly rotating residential GB, static proxy counts and a capped free shared-datacenter tier.
Before you switch
Compare a static ISP or datacenter plan; a rotating residential subscription is a different route.
Scrapfly sells credit-metered managed scraping with selectable proxy pools and optional rendering. SOAX sells residential and mobile proxy traffic through monthly credits at country-tier GB rates, alongside a separate Web Data API. For a scraper you already run, the choice is whether managed page handling is worth its separate cost.
Before you switch
An API response does not replace a proxy address inside every existing application.
The current pricing page shows a Sandbox with no included credits, then prepaid monthly credits on Builder, Team, Scale and Enterprise. Residential and mobile traffic draw from plan credits at a geo-tier rate; higher plans lower the rate. Monthly credits roll over for 60 days on listed paid plans; Enterprise annual terms differ. Postpaid overage requires approval and signed terms.
Write down the last issue that made you consider switching. If it was a bill, compare the minimum commitment and expiry rules for the same monthly volume. If it was incomplete data, compare a proxy connection with a managed scraping API. If it was engineering time, count the browser maintenance and parsing work you would still own after switching.
Generate login:password@host:port proxy-list entries or use IP authorization; set a country, region, city or ISP target in the dashboard, then configure HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 on the browser or HTTP client. The help center documents API-based whitelist management.
Keep one small job on the current provider while you evaluate the replacement. Preserve the same target sample and required output so you can identify what improved.
