01Where the IPs come from
We do not run our own botnet or buy traffic from unknown resellers. Our IPs come from established wholesale network partners that run consent-based SDKs inside regular apps. App developers add the SDK as a way to earn without ads or paywalls. The app explains what sharing means, a device joins only after its owner agrees, only idle bandwidth is used, and owners can switch sharing off at any time.
Why it matters: in 2024 the US Department of Justice dismantled 911 S5, a proxy service built on devices infected without their owners' knowledge.
02How we check every IP
Each IP is checked against fraud-score databases such as Scamalytics, plus device speed and behavior. An IP that fails is not handed out. When a home device goes offline, the replacement keeps the country, city, ISP or ASN you pinned when a matching IP is available. Network averages: 0.35 s response time, 99.5% request success rate.

03What the network is not for
Built for: price and market research, SEO monitoring, ad verification, brand protection, localization testing, your own logged-in workflows and browser profiles, public web data for scrapers and AI agents.
Not allowed: fraud, carding and payment abuse; credential stuffing, account takeover and phishing; spam, malware, DDoS and unauthorized scanning; access to systems or data without authorization; harassment, stalking or any harm to minors; evading sanctions or breaking the law.
Blocked by default: online banking, payment processors, wallets and fintech platforms including Stripe, government, tax and voting sites (.gov, .mil), education portals (.edu) and sites linked to child safety risks. If a target you need is blocked, write to us with your use case.
04When we ask for KYC
No identity verification is needed to start. If traffic shows signs of abuse, carding or other illegal activity, we pause access and request identity verification. Accounts that refuse or fail the check are closed. See the terms of use.
05Report abuse or ask about your data
Seen abuse from a ProxyLane IP? Email [email protected] with the IP, timestamps with time zone and the affected site. We investigate every report and suspend accounts that break these rules.
