BUYER DECISION

## Three routes side by side

Hold the workload constant and compare the decision field that can change your bill or your team's work.

| Decision field | Proxy-Seller | IPRoyal | ProxyLane |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Residential entry | Proxy-Seller Displayed test offer: $3.50 for 1 GB, valid for 30 days. Volume plans also have 30-day validity and state no renewal; no forced subscription | IPRoyal Residential display lists $7.35 for 1 GB pay-as-you-go or $7 on subscription | ProxyLane ProxyLane lists $6.50 for 1 GB, $390 for 100 GB and $2.50/GB at 1 TB |
| Location controls | Proxy-Seller Official page lists 220+ locations with city and ISP targeting | IPRoyal Configure residential geo and rotation in the dashboard; verify inventory for the target | ProxyLane Country, city and ISP targeting is part of the residential offer |
| Session choice | Proxy-Seller Rotating or sticky up to 24 hours; the IP can change sooner if the residential user disconnects. Unlimited concurrent sessions are advertised | IPRoyal Rotating or sticky sessions with a configurable TTL up to seven days; peer churn can still end identity | ProxyLane Rotating or sticky sessions with no-expiry traffic terms |
| Protocols and auth | Proxy-Seller HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS5 with username/password or IP allowlisting | IPRoyal HTTP(S)/SOCKS5 with dashboard credentials and IP options | ProxyLane HTTP/SOCKS5 with credentials managed for your workflow |
| Integration | Proxy-Seller Dashboard and residential API provide gateway or management paths | IPRoyal Use a proxy list or residential API; no first-party MCP endpoint was verified | ProxyLane Use the gateway in an MCP browser or fetch tool; team answers workflow questions |

STAY IF

## Keep the current route

### Keep Proxy-Seller for breadth

Stay when 220+ locations, city or ISP selection, both HTTP and SOCKS5, and IP allowlisting already match your client fleet.

### Keep the tested route

If the current residential endpoint passes your target and session test, a migration adds risk without a proven business gain. Document the SKU and credentials instead.

SWITCH IF

## Change the route

### Switch for a different balance

Try IPRoyal when pay-as-you-go balance and a longer configurable sticky TTL matter, or ProxyLane when no expiry and a simple volume ladder are easier to budget.

### Switch by workload evidence

Use the same target, location, session and request policy across candidates. Change provider only when the acceptance sheet shows a material operational improvement.

WORKLOAD DETAILS

## Check the details that matter

Keep the SKU comparison honest

Proxy-Seller's official residential page lists 220+ locations, city and ISP targeting, rotating or sticky sessions, 47M+ IPs, HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS5 and username/password or IP allowlisting. That is a useful incumbent for a team with mixed clients. It also shows a 1 GB pay-as-you-go entry at $3.50 and larger traffic tiers, so the exact order is easy to identify. The displayed test and volume plans are valid for 30 days. No forced subscription and the volume plans' no-renewal wording do not mean unused traffic lasts indefinitely.

Do not compare that gateway with an ISP address or dedicated proxy merely because the account uses similar credentials. Record product type, billing unit, rotation mode, geo level, protocol and authorization method. The login syntax tells you how to connect; it does not prove that two providers use the same upstream inventory.

IPRoyal and ProxyLane answer different needs

IPRoyal's official residential materials list $7.35 for 1 GB pay-as-you-go or $7 on a renewing subscription, plus rotating or sticky sessions and a TTL setting up to seven days. A TTL setting is useful for a longer session, but it is not a promise that one peer remains online. IPRoyal's account API can help manage orders, while the proxy still runs inside your client. Proxy-Seller's official FAQ specifies sticky sessions up to 24 hours, with an earlier IP change if the residential user disconnects. Neither provider's TTL guarantees continuity.

ProxyLane is the third option for a buyer who wants country, city and ISP targeting, HTTP/SOCKS5, rotating or sticky sessions and no expiry. Its current ladder is $6.50 for 1 GB, $390 for 100 GB and $2.50/GB at 1 TB. That makes a clean commercial test possible, but it does not establish better route quality than Proxy-Seller.

Use your target as the referee

Run one script through each residential SKU. Hold headers, timeout, retries, concurrency, target, location and session identifier constant. Record response outcome, login errors, session continuity, challenge rate, consumed traffic and setup work. A successful connection proves connectivity; it does not prove the route will serve every target or city.

Keep Proxy-Seller if its current route wins or if its authorization and protocol coverage reduce work for your team. Choose IPRoyal for a verified TTL or balance advantage. Choose ProxyLane for a verified fit with its no-expiry terms and gateway controls. Leave other workloads on the incumbent when their conditions remain the better match.

MIGRATION CHECKLIST

## Move one useful job first

Use a reversible sample and preserve the acceptance rule that made the current route useful.

1. 01

### Freeze the SKU

Name residential, ISP or dedicated product, order size, 30-day validity where applicable, geo, session mode and auth before comparing.

1. 02

### Build one script

Keep client, target, timeout, retries, concurrency and asset policy identical across routes.

1. 03

### Record the result

Measure business response, continuity, challenges, traffic consumed and operator setup time.

1. 04

### Move one workload

Adopt IPRoyal or ProxyLane only for the tested workload; retain Proxy-Seller where its fit is stronger.

QUESTIONS TO SETTLE

## Before you change providers

Is Proxy-Seller residential the same as an ISP proxy?

No. The official catalog separates residential and ISP products. Compare the same SKU, billing unit, geo and session behavior before deciding.

Does Proxy-Seller support SOCKS5?

Its residential page lists HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS5 and username/password or IP allowlisting. Confirm the selected endpoint supports the mode your client needs.

Does a similar username prove shared upstream inventory?

No. Credentials describe authorization syntax. They do not establish the underlying pool, route ownership or performance.

When is ProxyLane worth testing?

Test it when no-expiry traffic, country/city/ISP targeting and HTTP/SOCKS5 fit the workload. Compare its $6.50 1 GB or larger ladder against the exact Proxy-Seller order.
