BUYER DECISION

## Three routes side by side

Hold the workload constant and compare the decision field that can change your bill or your team's work.

| Decision field | NodeMaven | Decodo | ProxyLane |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Entry billing | NodeMaven Minimum monthly purchase: $8.50 for 2 GB; advertised monthly from-rate: $2.20/GB. Separate trial: $3.50 for 750 MB; pay-as-you-go also available | Decodo Decodo lists $4 for 1 GB via Wallet; its eligible 3-day, 100 MB trial has separate terms | ProxyLane ProxyLane lists $6.50 for 1 GB and $390 for 100 GB; 1 TB is $2.50/GB |
| Unused traffic | NodeMaven The pricing page says purchased traffic rolls over, with cashback on used bandwidth | Decodo Choose the selected Decodo product and term; residential, managed APIs and Site Unblocker use different meters | ProxyLane ProxyLane states no expiry for purchased residential traffic |
| Sessions and geo | NodeMaven Rotating or sticky sessions, country/city/ISP/ZIP targeting and sticky sessions advertised up to 24 hours | Decodo Dashboard settings cover proxy type, location and session; Site Unblocker is a separate managed endpoint | ProxyLane Country, city and ISP targeting with rotating or sticky HTTP/SOCKS5 sessions |
| Agent path | NodeMaven Use the generated gateway in an MCP browser or fetch tool you operate; no first-party MCP was verified in the reviewed pages | Decodo Official hosted or local Decodo MCP uses a Web Scraping API token, separate from raw proxy GB | ProxyLane Use ProxyLane credentials in your MCP-capable browser or fetch workflow; account and workflow questions go to the team |
| Acceptance test | NodeMaven Run the same target, country, session TTL, request count and asset policy against the chosen NodeMaven SKU | Decodo Run raw proxy and Site Unblocker as separate tests because they are separate products | ProxyLane Record status, challenge rate, session continuity, consumed GB and total setup time before moving traffic |

STAY IF

## Keep the current route

### Keep NodeMaven for rollover

If your traffic arrives in bursts and the account terms let unused purchased bandwidth roll forward, that balance can be more useful than a lower rate that requires a new monthly commitment.

### Keep NodeMaven for its route controls

Stay when country, city, ISP or ZIP targeting plus a sticky session up to 24 hours solves the browser workflow and your team is happy with the current route behavior.

SWITCH IF

## Change the route

### Switch when the billing unit is wrong

Move the comparison to ProxyLane if non-expiring traffic and a simple 1 GB to 1 TB ladder are easier to forecast, or to Decodo if its managed API or MCP path is the real requirement.

### Switch after a matched session test

Use the same target and geo for both routes, hold session and retry policy constant, then switch only if the chosen alternative meets continuity and cost acceptance criteria.

WORKLOAD DETAILS

## Check the details that matter

24-hour sticky sessions and traffic rollover

The official NodeMaven pages make a clear case for buyers who need residential and mobile pools, country, city, ISP or ZIP controls, and rotating or sticky sessions. The pricing page also describes rollover and cashback. Those are meaningful reasons to stay: a team with uneven traffic may value retained balance and a long browser identity more than a lower entry number.

Validate the exact package before purchase. The displayed $3.50 trial is 750 MB, while the lowest monthly example is 2 GB for $8.50 and the residential page describes sticky sessions up to 24 hours. Treat those as current page terms, not a promise that every location or peer remains available for the full TTL.

Decodo changes the product boundary

Decodo is useful when the buyer may need a raw proxy, Site Unblocker or an official MCP server. A raw residential endpoint should be compared with NodeMaven's gateway; an MCP scrape or managed unblocker should be priced and tested as its own product, because its token, quota and request behavior do not share the raw proxy allowance.

ProxyLane is the simpler third route for a team that wants a residential gateway with country, city and ISP targeting, HTTP/SOCKS5, sticky or rotating sessions and no expiry. Its published ladder is $6.50 for 1 GB, $390 for 100 GB and $2.50/GB at 1 TB. Compare the package payment and retained balance with your expected usage, then test route quality separately.

Use one protocol and one workload

Create a small acceptance sheet with target URL, country or ISP, session identifier, concurrency, timeout, retry rule and whether page assets are fetched. Send the same requests through NodeMaven, Decodo raw proxy and ProxyLane. Keep Decodo Site Unblocker in a separate row rather than blending a managed response with a raw gateway result.

Compare successful business outcomes, session continuity, consumed traffic, authentication effort and the time your operator spends fixing failed sessions. If NodeMaven wins on the route or rollover, keep it. If ProxyLane lowers the operational friction at your chosen scale, move only the verified workload and retain an incumbent account for the tasks where its controls remain useful.

MIGRATION CHECKLIST

## Move one useful job first

Use a reversible sample and preserve the acceptance rule that made the current route useful.

1. 01

### Name the workload

Write the target, geo, session lifetime, concurrency and expected monthly GB before opening a new account.

1. 02

### Choose matching SKUs

Compare NodeMaven residential, Decodo raw residential and ProxyLane residential; keep managed products in separate rows.

1. 03

### Run the same requests

Use the same client, headers, timeout, retry rule and asset policy for each route.

1. 04

### Accept or retain

Move only when continuity, total cost and setup time meet your recorded threshold; otherwise keep NodeMaven.

QUESTIONS TO SETTLE

## Before you change providers

Is NodeMaven cheaper than ProxyLane?

NodeMaven advertises monthly rates from $2.20/GB, but its minimum monthly purchase is $8.50 for 2 GB. Its separate trial costs $3.50 for 750 MB. ProxyLane lists $6.50 for 1 GB and $390 for 100 GB. Compare the cash commitment, allowance and term of the order you would actually buy.

Does NodeMaven support sticky sessions?

Yes. Its residential page advertises rotating and sticky sessions and says sticky sessions can last up to 24 hours. A peer can still leave the pool, so test continuity on your target.

Is Decodo MCP the same as a proxy connection?

No. The official Decodo MCP uses a Web Scraping API token. Price and test it separately from a raw residential proxy balance.

What should I measure before switching?

Measure business success, session continuity, challenge or retry rate, consumed GB, authentication effort and operator time on the same target and geo.
